2 Vintage Hong Kong Peninsula Faux Cinnabar Soap Boxes Complete w Door Guards

Offering two interesting souvenirs from my great aunt's travels.
This pair of faux carved cinnabar soap boxes were brought back from the fabulous Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong several decades ago.
The boxes still each have the original bar of unused soap and one still has a little welcome note inside the box which states that the images on the top of the boxes are the Door Guards of the Peninsula Hotel set in place to watch over guests.
Both boxes measure about 4" X 4" by 2". The soaps still smell nice through their wrapping. The welcome note is a bit rumpled in the center from being pressed on top of the soap in its box. Boxes have no damage.
