Description

Up for your consideration is a piece of Chinese folk art depicting General Mao. This piece was most likely embroidered by a fan of the revolution, also the corrosion on the places where a tack attached to the wall, tells us that this piece most likely was made by a poor person that believed on the Mao regime. It is an interesting piece and reminded me when i saw an exhibit from artist Song Dong with the contents of his mother's house at the San Francisco MoMa. It measures 18.5 by 15 inches.
